“Civilian National Security Force”?

Alright...

So my parents can't talk enough about how scary Obama's speech about a well financed civilian force (Such as the Police (Not the band)) should be better supported by the government to help with national security thus decreasing the need for the military to police us... but for some reason conservatives don't want to double the Peace Corps or AmeriCorps... they seem to be afraid of educating children about how the government works... seems to me conservatives are still afraid of black people (Though I'm certain I use more Ebonics in a week than Obama's used his entire life).

So here's the question: Does taking parts of a speech and then being afraid of that part of the speech make any sense when the rest of the context makes the part you're afraid of like 3% of the point?

And how many times have you thought to yourself there's too much crime?

I hate to break this to you conservatives who don't know how to read nor listen, but here it is, police are civilians, they are not part nor have they ever been part of the military. And to Expand the Peace Corps might help other countries feel that we're not such huge dickheads. Maybe they may learn to like America again, is that really so bad?

Then he talks about teaching service in schools (Yes I know you religious nuts think that service should be God oriented), but he states that children that grow up doing service and helping others are more likely to finish their educations and be successful in life.

So what is it these conservatives are really are afraid of? I think I know what it is, they want to be afraid... we invented God to scare us, that wasn't enough so we invented the devil to scare us and now not even that is enough to scare us... so now the only thing we have left to do is plug our ears screaming out loud about all the stuff that we believe such that we may remain retarded and afraid of fiction.

That's not my biggest problem with this shit either, what I find most troublesome is that these opinions develop without first learning the whole story, just what was raped out of context by some conservative asshole that knows what other conservatives will find frightening, and a lot of them fall for it.

What a sad people are those whom bring fear to the table.
